A world-renowned producer, DJ and Grammy-nominated remixer, it only takes one "Vission"-ary experience to see why Pete Tong calls Richard Humpty Vission "one of the most incredible DJs in the world" From his non-stop, rapid-fire assaults behind the decks to his numerous (and timeless) dancefloor anthems created in the studio, Richard Humpty Vission is a name that has become synonymous with dancefloor magic and the future of house music.
In 1992, when techno and house took the club and rave scene by storm, Vission brought the underground to the airwaves and created 'Powertools' on Power 106 FM which continues to be the #1 rated underground show in Los Angeles to this day.

Entrenched in the scene as an underground icon, Richard soon found himself appearing on show's like MTV's TRL, Rock 'N Jock and the Blame Game (where he served as music director for two years). Of course, Richard performing on stage alongside Madonna at the 2001 Grammy Awards continues to stand out in most people's minds.

With his hi-profile remixes of Madonna's "Dont Tell Me" and "Music" singles earning Richard a Grammy nomination as "Remixer of the Year", Madonna herself requested that Richard perform alongside her to kick-start the nationally televised Grammy ceremony in true underground style.
More recently, Richard's remix of Nelly Furtado's "Turn Off the Lights" has hit #1 on the Billboard Dance Charts while his single "Where I'm Going" (featuring Static Revenger) continues to be championed by world-class DJs like Seb Fontaine, Rhythm Masters, and Eric Morillo. Returning to Hawaii for the first time since Coastal Collective 2  years ago, we are very proud to present RHV.

The House Boutique, as he has dubbed Wax, has proven to be a successful destination, as well as an outlet for Gabriel and his allies. Having recently established their second record label, Westbound, it was fitting for Aztech Sol's 'Raices EP' to be the second release, which recently received critical acclaim from high-profile production duo Inland Knights. With a self-described style of high-tech funk, he emanates life
and soul, blending the ancient roots of music with the technology of today.

Throughout the past few years, Gabriel has collaborated with several artists, both in and out of the Wax collective. With Doc Martin, he produced a remix on DJP Records of the track, "Clap Your Hands" by DJ Pierre. In 2001, together with Kenneth Graham as Ashtar Afterhours, "taeya vs. Gia Marie" was configured and released on Plastic City. Most recently, one of his tracks from the Westbound release, "Tropicasa," was licensed to appear on the Nu-York Nite:Life compilation mixed by Joeski and Onionz, out now on NRK. Be shure to look out for brand new material to soon to drop on his own imprint COMPU_SOL recordings Plus follow up material on the WAX label later this year!
